High hopes for Binnie with new Lola B05/40.
Binnie Motorsports recently announced the acquisition of a new Lola LMP-2 B05/40. The car will be powered by a Nicholson-McLaren normally aspirated V-8 and the team hope to successfully tak꧋e part in the Le mans 24 hours.
The 2005 Driver Line-up for Binnie Motorsp🉐orts will be Adam Sharpe, Bobby ﷽Julien and William Binnie.

"Our 2005 schedule includes Sebring and the five European LMES 1000K races and our season's ambition is the Le Mans 2🦹4. We have mad🐽e a major commitment to the new ACO rules with the purchase of this new Lola race car, which will meet all of the new 2005 ACO specifications. As a new team, we believe it is important to state that we are a fully committed and funded race team and it is our intention to compete in both Europe and the United States in 2005."

Binnie Motorsports' Team Manager will be Murray Smith aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnd Crew Chief will be Pat Twinley who was also crew chief🍨 on the winning Le Mans 24 hours effort in LMP-2 in 2004.
"Murray and Pat have extensive experience in motorsports and 𓄧have been involved in winning at all levels including Le Mans, Daytona 24 Hou🧸r and a number of World Championship races and their input will be invaluable," continued Binnie.
Murray Smith was team manager for Cour𓃲age and the de Cadenet racing efforts at Le Mans and in the World Championships as well as deeply involved in the conception and organization of the Viper GTSR project at Chrysler, which led to successive victories at Le Mans, in the World Championship, and overall victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The first race for the team will be the Sebri🐬ng 12-Hour in March.
