Kevin Windham finally achieved what he has threatened to do for some long, as the Team Suzuki star🐷 romped to a double moto sweep at Washougal MX Park, Washington.

Windham's w🌺ins have helped keep his championship hopes alive, but 🦋they were far from easy as Kevin caught and PASSED defending champion Ricky Carmichael for the lead in each moto.

Nevertheless, RC remains in control of ꦐthe points standings, with 390 to Windham's 348 and three rounds to go. The Kawasaki rider having taken second overall at Washougal by virtue of two runner up moto finishes.

Behind the to📖p two, Y𝓀amaha's Tim Ferry rode consistently to finish third overall with a 3/3.

In the 125cc class Mike Brown charged into the series points lead as his SplitFire Pro-Circuit Kawasaki crꦬushed all competitors by winn♈ing both motos.

With the Washougal sweep he's now won four moꦉtos in a row, counting last weekend's event in Troy, and leads Grant Langston by 5 points in the championship chase, 327 to 322.

South African KTM star Langston finished second overall on the day by finishing second in the first, and third in the final moto. Rodr💫ig Thain completed the overall podium, by way of his 4/5 moto scꩲores.

Defending National Champion Travis Pastrana has been having a run of bad luck lately: A fall and concussion at Unadilla, not able to practice that following week leading up to the Troy event, falling hard i🅷n practice here at Washougal and injuring his shoulder, falling on the first lap of the first moto, and falling again in the second moto.

All this leaves the likeably Travis third in the championship st𒁏andings with 311 points.
