Smith has been in critical condition since the accident prior to round two of the AMA Super♐cross event, and is still in an induced coma to control𝓰 cerebral swelling.
According to AMA EA Sports Supercross series doctor John Bodnar, Smith had a repeat CT scan on Wednesday night and there was no significant change found from the previous scan, proof that the blood clot in his brain has not enlarged. Bodnar is keeping in close contact with his doctors and the Smith ജfamily and will keep AMA Pro Racing updated on his condition.
The industry has organised a number of ways to support the Smith family, and fans can send messages of support to Smith and his family at the hospital in San Diego. Cards should be addressed to Sharp's Memorial Hospital, c/o Admissions, Justin Smith, SICU Room 2, 7901 F♔rost St, San Diego, CA 92123. E-mail can be sent directly to the hospital as well.
