Double World Motocross champion Mickael Pichon made an imp🐟ressive return to AMA action as a wild card in last Saturday's Anaheim III round of the US Supercross/World SX GP series.

The Frenchman༒ finished third in his heat race after running with reigning champion Rickey Carmichael, but his main event ended at the very first turn.

"My start was not so bad. It could have been better, but I was in eighth or something, and then Vuillemin came to the inside to push me out a little bit," explained Pichon. ಞ"Nothing really bad. Then I had to stop in a corner and someone came from behind and hit me...probably had some moment🌳um going...came and hit me on the back wheel. I fell off on the right side really quick and it broke the front lever. With no front brake, not much you can do? So then it was already finished for me."

"My speed was♚ pretty good. I had a good time running each race and was feeling pretty good going into the main. I'm a little bit disappointed though, that I didn't get the chance to do more," he added.

Pichon might get a second chance to show th🐓e American audience that he hasn't lost any of his Supercross speed by entering this Saturday's event at San Diego, before returning to Europe to prepare♛ for the start of the GP season.

"I'm going 𝔉to d💛o some more riding and training this week and we'll see," stated Mickael.
