Moto2 attracts 47 applications.

IRTA has received valid applications from no less than 47 teams, requesting entries for a total of 91 riders, in next year's inaugural Moto2 World Championship.

IRTA has received valid applications from no less than 47 teams, requesting entries for a total of 9𒊎1 riders, in next year's inaugural Moto2 World Championship.

Moto2 ꧃will feature 600cc four-stroke machines, powered by identical Honda engines but featuring different chassis designs. For 2010, existing 250cc two-stroke motorcycles will also be allowed to race.

However, all of the applican💫ts, with the exception of one team with two riders, have req🍨uested to participate with Moto2 machines.

It is believ✱ed that the app♑lications include requests by all of the satellite MotoGP teams.

The regular selection Committee composed of representatives of FIM, Dorna and IRTA will mee💜t at the forthcoming Catalan Grand Prix to establish the provisional Moto2-250cc entry list for 2010.
