Dominique Aegerter gave🐬 the grieving Technomag-CIP team something to smile about during the Moto2 Aragon Grand Prix as he claimed his best result of the season.

The Swiss racer, com🅺peting alone in the wake of team-mate Shoya Tomizawa's tragic death at Misano, was determined to put in a🍎 strong result for both the team and the fallen rider at Aragon.

He duly achiev🥃ed his objective, Aeg💜erter posting a best finish of the season in seventh, a result that moves him up to 13th in the overall standings.

An important performance both himself and the team, he is hoping the result can carry 'm🐷otivation and hope' for the reওmainder of the year.

"I made it q♏uite clear to Shoya and our team," he said. "I wanted to produce a good result and I am happy th꧋at it worked. It will serve as motivation and hope for the other races."

Shoya would have wanted for me to continue to ride at full throttle and not to brake because of such a tragedy. He 🌞lost his life whilst doing what he loved. He lo♌ved motorsport, just like me. For me, riding bikes stands above all and this will continue to be the case."
