MotoGP: Lecuona receiving Moto2 offers, eyes other ‘big bike’ series, WorldSBK?

Desp🥂ite offers to return to Moto♈2, Iker Lecuona is aiming to stay on bigger bikes with MotoGP his preference.
The Tech 3 KTM rider is currently without a seat for next season, and while Yamaha have one spot left alongside Andrea Dovizioso for 2022, that is expected to go t🅷he way of Darryn Binder (favourite for the seat) or even Jake Dixon.
The꧙refore a move away from MotoGP is most likely at present, but what would a departure from the pinnacle of t😼wo-wheel racing look like.
Well, Lecuona has﷽ himself confirmed Moto2 offers are on the table, however, the 21 year-old is adamant of staying on bigಌger machinery, meaning a switch to World Superbike could be possible.
There are both factory (Honda) and satellite options available ꦚin WorldSBK with Ducati, BMW and Kawasaki as possible openings.
Speaking about his future, Lecuona added: "I have offers for Moto2 or other championships, but my target is to ﷽stay here in the MotoGP class.
"If I cannot stay here, I think I will change championships. My target is to c🉐ontinue with the road bike, a big bike, I don’t know what will happen in the future.
"I need to wait, but for sure my target now is to stay focused and fini🐼sh the year well."
After a difficult first half to 2021, Lecuona has begun to show better potential with sixth and🦄 seventh 🌱in the last two races.
Next up is a third home race of the season in Aragon as Lecuona aims to ‘sꦍ𝔉imply keep my spirit’.
"For Ar🔴agón this weekend, I simply want to keep my spirit. With my sixth and my seventh position in Austria and England I reached my best results to date and I’m very happy about these last races. So I really hope I can just continue that way," added Lecuona.
