Yamaha is se🦂t to complete a dominant MotoGP treble in its 60th anniversary year after sealing the 2015 Manufacturers' title at Phillip Island in Australia.

Jorge Lorenzo finished second on the Movistar Yamaha to deliver the constructors' title and with either Lorenzo or team-mate Valentino Rossi set to be crowned MotoGP World Champion this season, Yamaha will complete a special triple crown after the Team title was also secured three weeks ago at Motorland Ar﷽agon in Spain.

So far this year Yamaha has amassed 362 points in the manufacturers' standi💛ngs thanks to a total of six wins and two second places by Lorenzo, four wins, one second and two thirds by Rossi and a second place by Bradley Smith at Misano.

For the Constructors' Title, only the highest placed motorcycle of a given constructor will gain points, accordin🤡g to the position in the race.

Yamaha, clinching the Constructors crown for the 37th time, has won the riders title in the premier class 16 times, most rece𒆙ntly with Lorenzo in 2010 and 2012, while Rossi won thಞe championship four times in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009.

The other title winners were Wayne Rainey (1990, 1991, 1992), Eddie Lawsoಌn (1984, 1986, 1988), Kenny Roberts (1978, 1979, 1980) and Giacomo Agostini (1975) in the 500cc class.
