Andrea Iannone and Jorge Lorenzo collide in Catalunya MotoGP
This was the incident that sent Andrea Iannon💯e 𒈔and Jorge Lorenzo out of Sunday's Catalunya MotoGP.
Yamaha rider Lorenzo, who was dropping through the field ♌after holding the early lead, was rammed by Iannone after the 🧸Ducati star made a mistake under braking.
Iannone is set to be punished with a last place start for the ne💃xt event at Assen, while Lorenzo is now 10-points behind Marc Marquez in the world championship standings.
Fortunately, both riders were unhurt.
