MotoGP Thailand: Marquez tours Bangkok, tries Tuk-Tuk!

Before heading upcountry for this weekend's inaugural Thailand MotoGP, reigning world champion and 2018 title leader Marc Marquez took a special tour of the countryไ's capital Bangkok.

It began with an official welcome ceremony at Makaharn Fort w🃏here Marquez was joined by home heroes Nakarin Atiratphuvapat (Honda Team Asia), Thitipong Warakorn (SAG Team), Apiwath Wongthananon (VR46 Master Camp Team) and former Asia Talent Cup Champion Somkiat Chantra (AP Honda Racing Thailand).

After a Q&A with local media, the riders then headed back out onto the street🐠s of Bangkok...

Marquez made sure the city got a reౠal taste of MotoGP as he rode down Ratchadamnoen Avenue, all the way up to the democracy moඣnument, where he did a couple of laps.

Then it was time to head north to Buriram, where pre-event activities get under tomorrow ahead of opening practice on Friday morning.
