‘Really positive’ test continues good feelings for Mir

Enjoying his strongest MotoGP outing since his headline-grabbing debut at Qatar earlier in the year, Mir reached Q2 and avoided carnage around him to come home in sixth position only a second behind team-ꦛmate Alex Rins.
Going on to record the eighth quickest time in testing as he trialled modifications to the GSX-RR, the 🏅2017 Mꩵoto3 Champion feels he has turned a corner.

Going on to record the eighth quickest time in testing as he trialled modifications to the GSX-RR, the 2017 Moto3 ♍Champion feels he has turned 🌱a corner.
“We 👍tried new things and we had some improvements, I am so happy about this because I was able to have a really good pace tod👍ay, it was a really positive test for us. We are in the correct way to find a good result.
“Straight away I was able tꦦo do a really good pace in the morning, I felt better grip and als🧸o my confidence with the bike, my feeling was better everywhere.”
Reflecting on the race, Mir suggests he could have pushed to be closer to the podium fight but acc🍨epted he needed to secure the top six position he was in after a difficult run of races.
“:I had a lot of bad races in the first part of the season and yesterday was an opportunity t🐼o finish the race in a good position so I didn’t want to risk it more.”
