The newly-built circuit was visited ꧒by FIM Safety Officer Franco Uncini, Dorna Race Direction representative Loris Capirossi and Dorna Sporting Senior Director Carlos Ezpeleta the day after the Dutch MotoGP round to assess the development of the track construction.

Minor modifications have been requested, which will be completed after the MotoGP test set to take place on August 19-20, while the inspection also eva๊luated the FIM kerbs, flag tests plus track and medical marshals.

“The progress we saw was amazing and we believe the track will be ready for the test on the 💎19th to 20th of August,” Carlos Ez💦peleta, Dorna Sporting Senior Director, said.

“The layout of the track is great and we hope it will lead to exciting racing, eve𓃲rything seems to be happening on schedule and we’re very much looking forward to seeing the 🍌first MotoGP bikes on track at the KymiRing soon.”

Concerns had grown over delays to the construction of the new circuit which is set to gain top grade licence from both the FIM and the FIA – effectively mean✅ing it is able to host premier class motorsport – with the circuit holding a five-year deal to host the Finnish MotoGP round starting in 2020.

MotoGP test teams will tra꧒vel to the KymiRing to complete a two-day test, taking place between the Aust💫rian and British rounds, on August 19-20.

In a MotoGP release, Uncini, responsible for the homologation of the circuit,🅰 confirmed he’s confident the track will meet safety standards while Capirossi was pleased with the layout.

“We got great feedback from the safety professionals and we are continuing to build KymiRing Circuit as ꦗone of the greatest circuits of the world,” Tapio Nevala, President of Finnish Motorcycling Federati🌌on, said.
