After a low-key 14th on his MotoGP return at Silverston✤e, Jorge Lorenzo was forced to call an earlꦍy end to the Misano test due to pain and inflammation from his healing back.

The Repsol Honda rider has used the time off since to 🦹continue rebuilding his strength and hopes to be closer to the front at this weekend's San Marino Grand Prix, where he has taken three wins, four poles and holds the all-♋time lap record in the premier-class.

"Each day ღI am feeling str💮onger and able to train harder than the previous day and the time between races has helped," Lorenzo said. "I am looking forward to getting back on the bike and seeing how I feel physically on the RC213V.

"Despite not completing the full t♒est, we were able to find some good information to be able to start the weekend well. In the past Misano has been a good circuit for me so I am hopeful that this weekend we can continue to close the gap.”

Lorenzo, who did his best to dodge questions about rumoured talks with Duc♎ati during the summer, is 19th in the world 🌸championship with just 21 points so far this season.
