MotoꦯGP has outlined which tests w♑ill be dropped to accommodate a growing race calendar.

The only 🏅change for next season is the cancellation of the Brno post-race test, held ꧋in mid-August.

However, both the Valencia and Qatar winter tests will then be removed from the 2021 seas🐭on, which starts the day after the final race of🌳 2020.

That means the only testing between the end of the 2020 season and first race of 2021 will be at Jerez in November (the first chance for riders changing teams to debut with their new brand) and Sep🐈ang in February.

An additional pre-season test may also be held at the Indo⛎nesian circuit of Lombok, should it be completed in time to join the 2021 calendar.

The 2༺021 in-season tests will again be in the form of two single-day, post-race outings, plus a two-day official test (pr🦩obably at Misano).

The MotoGP calendar curre♚ntly stands at an all-time high of 19 ♎rounds, which will increase to 20 with the arrival of Finland next year.

Indonesia is then due to join in 2021, plus Brazil in 2ꩲ022.

SEASON 2020 (STARTING 18 NOVEMBER 2019)

Valencia 19-20 November Two-day official test.

Jerez 25-26 November Two-day joint private test.

Sepang 02-04 February Three-day shakedown test.

Sepang 07-09 February Three-day official test.

Qatar 22-24 February Three-day official test.

Jerez 04 May One-day official test after the GP.

Barcelona 08 June One-day official test after the GP.

Finland 15-16 June Two-day Michelin 🥂tyre test – test t꧙eams only.

Misano 15-16 September Two-day joint private test.

SEASON 2021 (STARTING 16 NOVEMBER 2020)

Jerez 19-20 November Two-day official test.

Sepang 01-03 February (prov) Three-day shakedown test.

Sepang 06-08 February (prov) Three-day official test.

Possible three-day, pre-season test at Lombok, Indonesiaও if circuit is included on 2021 calendar.

Two one-day official tests on Mondays after events. Circuits to be confirmed.

Two-day official test at a circuit to be confirmed – probably Misano.
