After a fourth-month delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, MotoGP finally returns 😼;with two back-to-back races held behind closed doors at Jerez in Spain.
It'll mark the start of 13 races in the space of just 18 ༺weeks, with the possibility of any end-of-year flyaways still to be decided💜.
Yamaha stars Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo set the pace during Wednesday's test session at the Spanish track, but wi𒉰th Hon🦂da's reigning six-time champion and defending Jerez winner Marc Marquez also consistently fast.
As has been the case throughout pre-season testing, ꦡlap times 🍨were incredibly close, with all six manufacturers featuring in a top-nine covered by just 0.8s in the final session.
Meanwhile, the later than usual ꧒date for the J🍸erez round means scorching temperatures are set to push man and machine to the limit this weekend.
MotoE will also make its 2020 debut this weekend, wh𓄧ile it'll be round two for the Moto2 and Moto3 classes, which got to race in Qatar.
