Spanish MotoGP: Marquez suffers fractured arm, to undergo surgery

Marc Marquez has been confirm🍨ed with a fractured arm following his accident during the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez, throwing his hopes of defending his MotoGP World Championship title int♓o serious doubt.
Th♍e Spaniard high-sided at Turn 3 with three laps remaining, falling heavily on his arm, with Repsol Honda team boss Alberto Puig confirming he had been𒐪 transferred to the medical centre to undergo further checks.
“Marc took a big hit to the upper arm, now they are checkin🧸g it and doing an X-Ray,” he said. “He has had some pain killers for the pai🐼n."
Repsol Honda has since confirmed Marquez has indeed fractured his humerus and will be transferred t🗹o ho🅘spital to undergo surgery.
With the team admitting it is unclear how long a recovery he will 🌟need, it puts him in serioไus doubt for the second round of the season with the Andalusian MotoGP just days away.

“A fall at Turn 3 while fighting for the podium has resulted in aඣ broken right humerus for the r꧃eigning World Champion, who will travel to Barcelona for surgery.
“After mounting an incredible comeback in the Spanish GP, Marc Marquez suffered a high side at Turn 3 and came down heavily on his right arm. As a result, the𝓰 eight-time World Champion has suffered a transverse diaphyseal fracture to his right humerus. MotoGP medical staff hꦿave confirmed there is no other serious head or thoracic trauma but will remain under observation for 12 hours.
"Marquez will travel to the Hospital Universitari Dexeus in🌜 Barcelona on Monday, July 20 and is aiming to be op🅷erated on by Dr Xavier Mir and his team on Tuesday, July 21st.
