Gresini is currently paired with Aprilia for its factory MotoGP entry, but the two parties may have their ownꦐ grid places in 2022, when a new commercial agreement begins between the teams and Dorna.

Should Aprilia join the other five manufacturers in having itജs own grid places, Gresini could then either become a satellite Aprilia team or move to another manufacturer.
