Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia head into the second day of action at the Doha MotoGP Grand Prix as clea🐈r favourites for pole position after their impressive F𒊎P2 performance.

This comes a week on from Bagnaia already setting an all new circuit lap record around the Losail International Ci🎉rcuit during S💦aturday’s Qualifying practice. 

Yesterday it was the turn of team-mate Miller to set a benchmark timeꦕ of a 1’53.145s, which was three tenths quicker than 🌺Bagnaia and Johann Zarco in third. 

Miller was fifth during qualifying last weekend, but his impressive la💟p time during ♐FP2 was only a few hundredths slower than his Q2 time.

Miller said: "I'm delighted with the feeling I've had with the bike this evening. In my first "time attack" attempt, I was really pushing haꦉrd, and I had a little bit of a moment. 

"Luckily I managed not to crash, and I went back quickly on track and set ܫa good lap time that I am really content with. 

"I think we still have room for improvement tomo🦂rrow evening, and as always, I will give my best in qualifying."

For Bagnaia, it was another solid day for the Italian who led most of the evening session, before finishing runner-u𒉰p to the Aust🐻ralian, 

Speaking after the session, Bagnaia said: "I'm pleased with the work we have done today. Compared to last week, we preferred to use time in FP2 to do some tests wi♑th the soft tyres focusing mainly on our race pace. 

"We made only one “time attack൩”. The feedback was positive, and tomorrow we will continue to work in this direction. 

"I'm convinced that we can get another good result in qualifying and arrive well prepared f▨or Sunday's race."
