Doha Moto2: ‘I’ve improved’ within ‘myself’, Lowes more relaxed than ever

Sam Lowes has begun his quest fo🌳r a first Moto2 title in perfec🅘t fashion with two wins from two in Qatar.
The British rider has p꧑icked up exactly where he left off last season before the injury he s♔uffered in Valencia, which had seen him take three wins in succession.
Unl🃏ike 🍨the first round of the year at the Losail International Circuit, Lowes was made to work until the checkered flag for his second win after an intense last lap with Remy Gardner.
Lowes led most of the race, but was kept honest by the Austrಞalian who tried his best to make a move on the Elf Marc VDS rider, as both riders set their fastest times on t♏he final lap.
Speaking after his second win of the season, Lowes said: "We had three weeks he🌊re in the desert🍷 with very changeable conditions. It was definitely not easy. But I think we saved the best for last!.
"That was a r🍨eally fast race pace – the fast൩est we’ve had in Qatar in Moto2.
"I’m rea🐎lly happy with how I approached these two races. I feel I’ve improved in myself and can be more relaxed in the race."
While it remains early in the season, and yes way too early to think of predicting a champion, the form Lowes has shown so far suggests he will꧋ be the man to beat.&nbs🎃p;
But given the manner of his win, it’s easy to see why confidence is&nbsಌp;high in the Bri꧙ton’s camp.
"I know it’s only the start of the year, but it’s been a really good start. To have som🌊ebody behind me all race and not make any mistakes is really important and tha♚t will give me a lot of confidence," said Lowes.
"When I won last year and last week I had a bigger gap so this was a bit different and I managed f𝔉ine and felt really comfortable.
"I’m looking forward to getting to Portugal and being able to ride there with two hands this time! L𒐪ast year that wasn’t the case.
"We’ve had a great few weeks, everyone is ready for home and I couldn’t be happier to take 50 poi๊nts back."
