Italian MotoGP: Pramac team extends Ducati contract

Pramac to continue as a Ducati satellite team for the next three seasons.

Pramac has officially confirmed that it will continue🥂 to as a 'Factory-supported'✃ Ducati team for the next three years.

The expected deal continues🧔 a partnership that began back in 2005 and, since 2020, has seen both of the Pramac riders not only under direct contract to the factory but also racing with the latest Desmosedici machinery.

The Pramac team has also been used by Ducati to groom potential Official team riders, with Andrea Iannone, Danilo Petrucci and now Jack Miller and Francesco Bagn♔aia promoted from Pramac to Factory.

Despite many podiums𓃲, Pramac is yet to win a MotoGP race with Ducati (although it did win races while running Makoto Tamada at Honda Pons).

"We are extremely proud of the work put in and the results we have achieved during these years together with Ducati," said Pramac owner Paolo Campinoti. "We are delighted to be continuing this beautiful adventure for the next three years. With Ducati, we have create🎃d a very special relationship, we have reached incredible objectives and, the best is yet to come!"

Ducati Corse sporting manager Paolo Ciabatti added: "It is truly a great pleasure for us to be announcing tღhe renovation of our partnership with Pramac Racing for the following three MotoGP seasons.

"Together with Pr🐓amac Racing, we have obtained very important achievements. Thanks to the close collaboration with them, we have been able to make young riders flourish, who then moved up with success to the offic♏ial team.

"Furthermore, we are certain to have what it takes to be able tไo🍌 enjoy many other great achievements together with Pramac Racing!"

Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco currently race for Pramac, the Spanish rookie also having a Ducati cont🐷ract in place for 2022.

Ducati's other satellite team, Avintia, cuﷺrrently uses GP19 machinery. Those grid places will effectively be taken over by VR46 next season, which is currently negotiating 𝐆with Ducati and Yamaha for machinery.

Ducati has indicated it could even supply eig🍬ht bikes next year, if nꦕeeded.

Gresini is yet to confirm whether it will remain with Aprilia as it returns to Independent status - and has told mahbx.com a decision won't be made this weekend - while there is also the possibilityౠ of Petronas being left without bikes if VR46 secures the satellite M1s.
