Brad Binder recovered from a shocking qualifying that saw him start the Dutch MotoGP🌞 in P21, as he gained an impressive ni♏ne spots to finish 12th.

Binder having good pace come race day and therefore making up places has become one of the surest bets in 2021🎀 so far. 

Although Binder started the German GP much further up - 13th place, it was a similar story in that one as he came thrꦺough to claim fourth - another nice place improvement. 

Binder was surprisingly joined on the back-row of the gri𝄹d by eight-time world champion Marc Marquez for yesterday’s race, as the Spaniard made an even better comeback - 20th to seventh.&nbs💞p;

Unlike Marquez who made up eight places on the opening lap, it took the South African a bit longer to make his way through the pack after not having ‘the speed in ꦛthe first stages of the race’. 

The KTM man added: "Difficult race for me.꧟ Starting in 21st and trying to pass the guys in the beginning, and then I clearly didn’t have the speed in the first stages of the race. 

"As the laps went down I started to improve my riding at different points on the 🍌track and went quicker. At the end I could match my quickest timeღ on the last lap. 

"I’m glad I💛 made an improvement, but I lost too much time early on. It was an up-and-down weekend and I got a bit lost but I gave ‘my all’ in the race. 

☂"I was a bit disappointed with 12th but we’ll re-group and come back stronger in the next phase of the season."
