Race day began in perfect fas♓hion for Aragon MotoGP pole sitter Francesco B꧂agnaia as he topped morning warm-up for Ducati.

Most of the riders headed out immediately, howe🥂ver, one of the pre-race favourites Marc Marquez chose to remain in pit lane.

Two riders who endured disappointing qualifying sessions based on their repre🧸sentative pace throughout♌ the weekend were Takaaki Nakagami and Alex Rins, but both riders looked impressive early on.

Nakagami was over half a second clear of Rins before Aleix Espargaro went second - still four tenths down.&nbs𒀰p;

Mir then reduced that gap to just over two tenths, while Marc Marquez even♓tua𓃲lly made his way onto the MotorLand Aragon circuit.

Pole man Bagnaia was hovering around tenth place for much of the session before jum🎐ping up to fourth. The Italian then improved again to go fastest.

As was the case in qualifying, a stunning last sector saw Bagnaia pull back all the lap time needed. A deficit of nearly two tenths to Nakagami was then turned inཧto a -0.030s advantage for Bagnaia.

As has been the 𝄹case far too often this season and 💮again this weekend, Alex Marquez suffered a crash at turn seven.

Enea Bastianini’s strong weekend continueღd in morning warm-up as he went third overall with five minutes to go - finished ninth in the end.

Nakagami remained second overall with Mir in third, while Jack Mille▨r was fourth on the second factory Ducati. Late improvements from Marquez saw h𒉰im finish tenth fastest.
