Alex Rins began race day for the Misano MotoGP in perfect style by topping morning warm-up, despite several deleted lap times for excღeeding track limits.

Not for the first time this season, Marc Marquez decided to stay in the garage for th🌌eꦛ beginning of warm-up and conserve his energy. .

With uncertain weather expeಌcted throughout race day, severalꦦ riders scrubbed in a set of wet tyres including Marquez, Rins and Jack Miller to name a few.

Ducati test rider Michele Pirro led after the initial flurry of la𒆙ps, before Rins and Fabio Quartararo looked set to go fastest with half the session gone.

However, the pair exceeded track limits on the exit of Curvone (turn 10), a common theme during this mo🥃rning’s session.

Quartararo did manage to impro🥂ve further on his next lap and therefore go top, while Rins slotted into second behind the Yamaha rider.&nb༒sp;
