For our final podcast of 2021 Keith Huewen, mahbx.com MotoGꦦP editor Peter McLaren and host Harry Benjamin take a team-by-team look ♚through the MotoGP field.

This clip focusses on Suzuki, which came into the season as reigning world champions with Joan Mir, but finished it without the Spaniard leading a single race lap - consistency rather than speed carrying Mir to third overall behind Fabio Quar💃tararo (🔯Yamaha) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).

It was an even more frustrating ♎season for team-mate Alex Rins, who suffered six race falls and missed Catalunya when he broke his wrist in a bizarre cycling accident t🐭o end the season an 'unlucky' 13th in the world championship.

Suzuki, shocked by the departure of team manager Davide Brivio in January, wa🌠s the last of the six factories to provide its riders with a rear ride-height device and Mir has made clear that✅ a big technical push is needed for 2021.

In🌳deed, with rider discussions already starting over 2023 contracts, Suzuki's first priority will arguably be to convince Mir t𝐆o remain on a GSX-RR…
