PICTURES: Vinales, Bradl join Sepang MotoGP Shakedown on day 2

After having his bikes checked by test rider Lorenzo🅠 Savadori on day one, Aprilia 🍸MotoGP race rider Maverick Vinales has taken to the Sepang track on day two of the shakedown test.
Vinales and team-mate Aleix Espargaro (yet to ride) are the only non-rookie race riders allowed to take part in the Shakedown, as part of the package of technical concessions available to Ap👍rilia, which - with one podium to its credit - is yet to exceed the maximum number of 'concession' points.
Also completing his first Shakedown💧 laps on Tuesday morning was Honda test rider Stefan Bradl, who is continuing work on the all-new RC213V, but has also been on track with what looks like a 2021-spec Repsol bike.

As well as the Aprilia riders, all five rookies - Raul Fernandez (Tech3 KTM), Remy Gardner (Tech3 KTM), Fabio di Giannantonio (Gresini Ducati), Marco Bezzecchi (VR46 Ducat♕i) and Darryn Binder (RNF Yamaha) - and the factory test riders are eligible to take part in the Shakedown.
However, di Giannantonio - the top rookie at last Nov𝔍ember's Jerez ✃test - is missing day two due to a stomach ache.
Moto2 title runner-up Fernandez was fastest on day one ൲with a best lap time of 2m 0.898s, with Vinales currently setting the day two pace.
Testing runs from 10am to 6pm each day, followed by practice starts. The Official Sepang test - for all competitors - 🐭will the♉n be held on February 5-6.
