Teenager Fermin Aldeguer will be out to prove that hisꦜ disappointing 2024 Moto2 campaign was merely a blip as steps up to MotoGP in the ex-Marc Marquez seat a෴t Gresini this year.

Aldeguer was signed by Ducati for 2025 i🍃n early 2024, following his late 2023 heroic🐎s. 

The young Spaniard had won the last four races 𝔍in a row on the Speed Up chassis to put even new champion and future MotoGP star Pedro Acosta in ♈the shade.

Without a Moto3 start, Aldeguer's route to grand prix s☂aw him dominate the 2020 European Superstock 600 class, then the 2021 CEV Moto2 championship on a Boscoscuro.

Luca Bosc🔯oscuro parachuted Aldeguer into his Speed Up Grand Prix team midway through the same 202꧟1 season, where he took a best of seventh place at Aragon.

Aldeguer's first full world championship year, in 2022, saw him narrowly miss 🎃out on the podium before the breakthrough 2🔯023 campaign.

With Aco💛sta moving to MotoGP for 2024, Aldeguer was the runaway pre-season favourite. 

But the new Pirelli tyres shook up the order and, while the Boscoscuro was the early chassis to be on, gaining a clear advantage over Kalex, Aldeguer was often beaten b🦋y team-mate Alonso Lopez, plus the MT Helmets duo of eventual champion Ai Ogura and Sergio Garcia.

Aldeguer took three wins but also🍬 suffered a nightmare seven non-scores, including an injury absence from Sepang, leaving him fifth in the final standings.
