A motorway accident on Wednesday night in North Carolina has claimed the life of 29 year-old Tara Parker, the wife of Rober𒅌t Yates Racing's #88 NASCAR Winston Cup crew-chief Shawn Parker, and her two younger sisters.

The three women were riding in a limousine as they returned fr💎om a rock conc🐻ert in Greensboro North Carolina when their vehicle was struck from behind by a pick-up truck.

News reports have indicated that the limousine's fuel tank was ruptured by the impact, causing an explosion and th꧃at the three women could not be freed from the🌸 blaze. The driver of the limo was said to be uninjured.

The driver of the pick-up truck who, according to news reports, was driving while impaired, was being held by police while two people in a t🍌hird car also involved, were said to be uninjured.

Obviously devastated by the news, the #88 team will still travel to the New Hampshire International Speedway this weekend𝕴 for the Sylvania 300, although driver Dale Jarrett will have an interim crew-chief while Parker is away with his family and two month old daughter Jagger.

Parker, who had been married for le🐠ss than three years, assumed crew-chief d🍎uties for the #88 team in early May after joining RYR as car-chief for Elliott Sadler at the start of the 2003 season.

Thursday's edition of FOX Sports' 'Totally NASCAR' show, which was to contain a fea🔯ture with Jarrett, was postponed.
