Ryan Tveter will remain with t🎃he Trident squad for his sophomore GP3 campaign in 2018.

The 23-year-old American finished behind French teammates Guliano Alesi and Dorian Boccolacci in eighth place in the 2𒉰017 GP3 standings in his rookie season and helped Trident to secure second place in the teams’ championship.

Tveter,🎶 who contested the European Formula 3 Championship for two years prior to his move into GP3, scored thre🉐e podium finishes across the season, finishing second in Hungary and at the season-ending Abu Dhabi round. 

“I’m so happy to continue to race for Trident in GP3 and want to thank the t🌼ea൩m and my supporters for making this possible,” Tveter said. “Last year was a breakthrough season for me and a huge part of that was the support and focused environment in the team. 

“Everyone works with common goal of fully supporting the driver to get the best results possible. That support really helps you to feel confident in yourself and the car underneath you. I 𓂃narrowly missed out on my first win on a couple occasions, but nonetheless we achieved some fantastic results with great consistency. 

“To stand on the F1 podium for the first time was something I’ll never forget and spraying the champagne after receiving your trophy doesn’t get old either. The team and I have high targets gꦰoing into 2018 and I can’t way to get pre-season testing unde✃rway.”

Trident confirmed earlier this month that Ferrari F1 Acaಌdemy member Alesi will remain with the Italian outfit for a third straight campaign in GP3, but it has yet to a꧒nnounce its third and final driver for 2018.
