World Long Track Championship returns to Britain.
The Auto-Cycle ✤Union (ACU), in conjunction with the Tonbridge and Malling Club, has announced that the World Long Track Champi🐷onship is returning to Britain for the first time since 2001.
꧑The fourth round of the gripping Championship will be held at the Collier Stree✃t Track in Tonbridge, Kent, on Sunday 24th August.
Long Track is similar to Speedway and Grass Track in terms of ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚstyle and machinery, but takes place on a much bigger - and therefore faster - circuit.

Long Track is similar to Speedway a🍰nd Grass Track in terms of style and machinery, but takes place on a much bigger - and therefore faster - circuit.
Top British riders flying the flag at their home event include former World Champion Kelvin Tatum MBE (pictured), who won the French Final, and countryman Paul Hurry (second in France). Reading Speedway star Andrew Appleton h༒as also qualified for the event.
There will also be a furth🧸er opportunity for the likes of Glen Phillips and Jeremy Doncaster to qualify from a 'last chance' heat.
Brits aside, heading th꧒e challenge i🐷n a world class field will be two German aces - defending World Champion Robert Barth and four-times championship winner Gerd Reiss, both making their only appearance on British tracks this year. There will also be a top class 1000cc sidecar and solo entry in the support races.
A radio roadshow alon�♐�g with laser quest, trade stands and quad bikes will be on hand to entertain the crowds, and a beer tent will be available on Sunday afternoon. Saturday night will also see family entertainment laid on, including a live band.
