Looking to carry on the qualit🥂ies that Burn🔥s displayed during his career, the foundation also hopes to not only inspire and support people, but to keep the memory of both Burns and Park alive.
"This weekend we are launching the Richard Burns Foundation which is being set up to raise money in memory of Rich♕ard Burns and also Michael Park who died last year," chairman, and Burn's former team boss at Subaru, David Lapworth said. "We are trying to keep their names alive and use that to try and raise money for causes that would ha♉ve been close to Richard and Beefs hearts. Richard battled hard when he was diagnosed with his cancer and we want to raise money for people who are going through similar now.
"We hope to use the momentum we have generated♚ so far to make sure that we can create more events in future that will fulfil both of our aims. We can keep their names alive through these special events - like the one at Castle Combe in a few weeks and various other things we are talking about, hopefully internation𓂃ally in the long-term - and can raise funds in the process.
"We want to maಌke as many people aware as possible and want to go on and raise money on an annual basis. The support we have had so far has been 𒁏really good and we are optimistic about doing something that can grow and grow and we can be involved in many events in the future."
