Henning Solberg forced out

Henning Solberg♑ has been forced to retire from the opening day of Rally Cyprus after an accident on his way to the first stage of the event.

The Stobart VK M-Sport driver was involved in a collision with another vehicle �🍌�on the way to the 30.33km run through Panagia 1 with the damage sustained to the Focus WRC being too much for Solberg or co-driver Cato Menkerud to repair.

It remains to be seen w👍hether or not the p🎃air will be able to resume during SupeRally on Saturday.

"All we know for now is they seem to have run into the back of a Toyota pickup which indicated left but actually turned right into Henning'sဣ path," team boss Malcolm Wilson explained of the incident.
