Remembering Richard event to honour Burns

Fans and friends of the 2001 world rally champion Richard Burns, who died from brain cancer five years ago this year, will be given the opportunity to remember the British 🧸hero during an event at Prodrive's headquarters in Banbury this Saturday [25 September].
The inaugural 'Remembering Richard' event has been jointly organised by Prodrive, which oversaw Richard's WRC title triumph alongside co-driver Robert Reid, and the Richard Burns Foundation charity, which🌄 is hoping to raise vital funds to help those suffering from brain cancer and other neurological disorders.
Among the highlights of the day will be an engine 'sound-off' in place of the traditional minute's silence, which b♋egin when the Impreza WRC, which carried Burns to world title glory, is fired up. Some 400 owners of the limited edition Richard Burns Impreza RB5 and RB320 road cars will then start their cars' engi🌺nes to show their appreciation of the Reading-born driver.
