Sordo: Problem with co-drivers' door led to roll

Citroen's Dani Sordo haꦯs revealed a problem with his co-driver's door contributed to his roll on Rally Argentina on Thursday.
Sordo was running seventh overall after SS2, but went out in the first-run through the 51.88 km Ascochinga-Agua de Oro test, SS3, when Carlos del B𝐆arrio called the wrong pacenote after he got distracted by the half-open door. Although the Spaniard could continue, he lost over 7 minutes, as the off damaged the power steering on his DS3 WRC car.
Sordo also later picked u✅p a 50-second time penalty when he was late leaving the mid-day service, as the extensive repairs took longer th𝔍an the allocated time. The Spaniard eventually concluded the leg in tenth place.
"I wasn't comfortable on SS2, which I tho🏅ught was very slippery. But it was much 🌠better on the next stage [SS3]. Unfortunately, there was a problem with Carlos' door. It affected his concentration and he didn't give me the right pace note," Sordo explained.
"It's really disappointing, but that's life. We are stil🍬l in the rally and we will keep going now to try and secure the b𒅌est possible result."
