2009 WSBK calendar released, no Brands.
The provisional 𝔍2009 World Superbike calendar, released by the FIM on Sunday, shows no round at Brands Hatch - traditionally one of the biggest events of the year - whilst confirming a re🙈turn to Kyalami in South Africa.
The season also looks set to start at Phillip Island in Aust💖ralia on March 1, rather than Qatar, with the desert venue reverting to ro♉und two.
The championship remains at 14 rounds, with one 'to-be-announced' event pencilled in for Sept🧸ember 27 in Italy, a slot occupie🎃d by Vallelunga for the past two years. Monza remains 'subject to contract'.
