Michael Schumacher has escaped uninjured following a heavy fall during testღing for the German IDM Superbike Championship in Ca♔rtagena.

The seven-time Formula One cha🍎mpion was testing the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade he will ride this year when the accident into turn one of the Spanish circuit happened.

Although reports had suggested Schumacher was briefly knocked unconscious, team boss Jens Holzhauer was quoted in the Germa🐽n press as referring to it as 'a harmless slip and a quite normal training fall'.

Despite that, Schumacher was taken to nearby hospital as a precaution, where he was tre🥀ated for neck and wrist injuries. He was later discharged and allowed home after undergoing medical checks.

"I had an accident at the bikin♏g tests in Cartagena, and to be safe I ꦉwent to a hospital," he said in a statement. "I was driving down start-finish and when breaking into the first corner I hit some bumps which made me fall.

"The checks in the hospital showed nothing﷽ and I am f💦ine, therefore I went back home at the evening."
