After♕ Friday’s opening day of track action at Circuito San Juan Vil🙈licum, Rea continued to lead proceedings despite seeing the quickest time change hands multiple times in the 20-minute FP4 session.
The reigning World Superbike c𝄹hampion’s 1m 39.270s edged out Davies by 0.095s at the chequered flag with his Aruba.it Racing Ducati team-mate Marco Melandri taking third place late on.
Toprak Razgatlioglu completed his encouraging practice session in Argentina with 💛fourth place for Puccetti Kawasaki just ahead of FP1’s fastest rider Alex Lowes on the Pata Yamaha.
Eugene Laverty led the charge for Milwaukee Aprilia in sixth place ahead of Jake Gagne on the Red Bull Honda with Althea BMW’s Loris Baz, Barn𝕴i Ducati’s Xavi Fores and Kawasaki’s Tom Sykes completing t♌he top ten.
Sykes had led the early times in FP4 before fading when a number of rivals sharpened their pace ahead of Superpole qualifying. Sykes will need to progress through Superpole 1 having missed out on the top ten after Friday practice due to an i𒈔ssue with his soft tyre in the final runs in FP3.
Michael van der Mark will also be aiming to progress through Superpole 1 for Pata Yamaha, ending FP4 in 11th, with local rider Leandro Mercado taking 12th for Orelac Racing Kawasaki.
