Toprak Razgatlioglu ended the final WorldSBK Catalunya free꧅ practice fastest from fellow Yꦫamaha rider Garrett Gerloff.

Tom Sykes enjoyed a brilliant start to race day (1) in Ca🐈talunya by immediately setting the pace in FP3. 

Second and third after the opening stint were Kawasaki team-mates Alex Lowes and Jonathan Rea, while day one pacesetter Razgatlioglu was fifth. 

Sykes’ fastest time remained until ♔the final five minutes when Yamaha riders Andrea Locatelli, Gerloff went quicker.

However, it was Razgatlioglu who then bettered both Locatelli and Gerloff with a 1:41.781s to f꧋inish quickest.

Michael Rinaldi split the Yamaha’ꦫs by going third fastest, before team-mate Scott Redding then went P3 himself. 

Free Practice Two

Toprak Razgatlioglu closes out WorldSBK Catalunya FP2🎐 faste🔯st along with top spot on Friday’s combined times. 

Unlik🌜e FP1 where Jonathan Rea led the way throughout, the six-time world champion had to play second best to Pata Yamaha’s Andrea Locatelli following the opening stint. 

Tom Sykes, who was third during this morning’s FP1 suffered an early crash, while the Ducati’s of Michael Rinaldi and 💧Scott Redding saw early improv🔜ements. Rinaldi then went fastest midway through session. 

Rinaldi’s stint at the top wasn’t a long one though as Razgatlioglu went quick💖est with the best lap of the day. 

Alvaro Bautista and Locatelli both suffered final corner crashes late on, while t🤡he top positions remained unchanged as the session ended. 

Rea had a late excursion through the gravel a😼t turn ten but was able to stay aboard his Kawasaki machine. 

Free Practice One

Jonathan Rea finishes FP1 for the Catalan WorldSBK fastest from championship rival Toprak Razgatlioglu.&nbs👍p;

After enjoying a recent two-day test in Barcelona, Rea was able to use the extra data gathered aboard his Ninja ZX-10RR to immꦅediately set the pace. 

Alex Lowℱes was second quickest following the initial f🍰lurry of laps before championship leader Razgatlioglu split the two KRT riders.  

Tom Sykes moved up to third with 🍒a quarter of the session remaining, while Andrea Locatelli continued to impress in fifth. 

With less than ten minutes r🅘emaining, Locatelli improved his time again which𝔍 resulted in the top five being separated by just three tenths. 

Times and positions inside the top five remained unchanged duri⭕ng the final few minutes, while Garrett Gerloff moved up from 14th to eighth.
