Jonathan Rea tops World Superbike warm-up at Mandalika ahead of a ꦰrace one which could see Toprak Razgatlioglu crowned world champion.

🅰Warm-up got underway with damp patches as further rain could come during ⭕today’s double feature races.

Razgatlioglu and Scott Redding headed out immediately, however, Rea🎃 who lines up between the Yamaha and Ducati rider on the grid decided to remain in pit lane to begin Sunday🃏’s running. 

Redding was the rider with the early pace as h🀅e led Rea by over thr꧂ee tenths following the first few flying laps.

Impressive rookie Axel Bassani was third overall which is a good sign for the Italian w🎉ho has previous form in wet/damp conditions sh🉐ould it rain later today. 

While Redding moved the benchmark time down to a 1m 35s flat, Bassani aꦑnd Chaz Davies made it a Ducati 1-2-3 with 🃏five minutes to go. 

After taking 🐎things easy during the early stages, Razgatlioglu managed to go second fastest. ๊;

But the championship leader was quickly moved down to third as🥃 Rea went quickest overall as riders began their final lap. The top three of Rea, Redding and Razgatlioglu remained unchanged as the chequered flag dropped. 

The opening WorldSBK race in Indonesia was postponed ༒until Sunday due to extreme rain prior to the scheduled start. It means race one and two will taಌke place today, however, race one replaces the now cancelled Superpole race.

Before ꧂qualifying took place Alex Lowes was declared unfit after suffering an AC joint injury following a highside crash in FP3.

WorldSBK FP3 took place without Team HRC rider Leon Haslam after it was confirmed that the British rider would take 🃏no further part in his final weekend as a world championship rider due to a sho🥀ulder injury.
