WSS: Kieran Clarke targets rostrum on racing comeback

Nott♏ingham's Kieran Clarke will return to the World Supersport Championship in 2015 after signing for the PTR-run CIA Landlords Insurance Honda tea🧸m.
Clarke previously rode for PTR In 2012 and picked up point⛄s finishes at Monza in Italy before narrowly missing out on the top 15 at his home race at Donington Park.
Clarke, thoug🔯h, is hoping to challenge for podium finishes this season, even though he is adopting a 'one step at a time' philosophy on his return to the sport.
"Coming back to PTR feels a bit like D?j? vu but now it is CIA Landlords Insurance Honda. This was my first and only choice to return to racing, I was not prepared to compromise with competitiveness at all, I would have preferred to stay out of racing entirely," sa♕id the 2ಞ9-year-old.
"I have complete faith in the team and set up to deliver me a competitive race bike. My ambitions are to run at the front of the Championshi﷽p and fight for the podium.
"Saying that, my realistic short-term goal is to take it one step at a time; I am under 📖no illusion how hard it will be," he added.
"I have raced for two decades and in the last two years I have been doing stunt work an𝐆d coaching. I have probably worked more on my riding skills in the last two years than ever as a result. I can't wait to get racing."
🍃CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team manager Simon Buckmaster added: "It's🌸 great to have Kieran back in the team and we are looking forward to seeing what he can achieve with a full season on a competitive bike.
"We h🌱ave high hopes, but they are also realistic and he is one of the easiest and best people to work with, so we can't wait t꧟o get started."
