Jessopp confirmed with leg injury

Martin Jessopp has been diagnosed with a broken right tibia and fibula following his collision with Dan Linfoot during the opening race at Mallory Paﷺrk.
The Riders🌄motocycles.com Ducati rider came together with Linfoot on the third lap of the race, Jessopp getting caught up in t♓he Yamaha as they came down.
The team has since confirmed that Jessopp has sꦰuffered leg injuries and is currently waiting to be operated on a🎐t Leicester Royal Infirmary - hopefully on Wednesday - before being transferred to a hospital nearer to his home in Yeovil.
"I have also broken my left foot and it will just be a waiting 💮game for that to mend, so it is all pretty frustrating really," he told the BSB website. "I haven't seen the full footage, but I just had the front collected and that was it.
"I was having a gไood weekend until then; the Ducati was working really well as Michael [Rutter - team-mate] showed, so I was on for some solid points and looked good to stay 🅠inside the top ten overall.
"The first thing I asked the surgeon was when they thought I could get back on the bike, but we will have to wait and see what happens after the operation. I was🍃 looking forward to Knockhill, and for the second year in a row I won't be out on the grid - that is obviously disappointing, but now I have to focus on my recovery and🔯 go from there."
Jessopp had been classified nin🌠th in the overall standings ahead of Mallory Park and had been in contention for a Showdown position during the early stages of the season.
