Emmett in for Plater at Thruxton.
38-year-old Emmett will also be competing in the Henderson R1 Cup over the same weekend, so will be getting in plenty of miles on a slick shod Yamaha at the su💝per-fast Ha🔥mpshire circuit.
Emmett has form at Thruxton on a Yamaha, in 2002 his IFC Ducati team had quit the series and Emmet꧅t jumped on a Virgin Yamaha at Thruxton, achieving a double podium and maintaining🌟 his challenge on the would-be champion Steve Hislop.

Plater suffered a bad practice fall at Brands but will be fine for the 24 hour Le Mans event, one of the biggest races in motorcycle endurance racing, and he stand a good chance of success in the GMT94 Yam𒀰aha team, one of the best teams in the series.
The r🐼escheduling of the snow affected Brands Hatch round has also meant Plater will have to miss another BSB event as the new ♕Brands May date clashes with a world endurance round in Spain.
No replacement rider has yet been announced for that w🃏eekend but Emmett is looking forward to his Thruxton chance.
"I am really glad to be back in BSB this weekend," he said.
"With the one tyre rule it means✅ we are racing on a more equa🦹l level. The difference between a good and bad tyre could have meant up to a second before.
"Thruxton is one ༒of my favourite circuits on the calendar, so 🎃hopefully I can have a good result."
