Graves to contest season-closer at Brands.
The Peugeot 406 Coup? Rac✨e Team will travel to Kent this weekend for the final two rounds of the 2001 British Touring Car Championship on the famous Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch (7th October)🌱.
Brands Hatch Indy circuit is a tight, short (1.2262m) track with limited overtaking opportunities, with the best 𒅌being at Paddock Hill bend after the pit straight. The Kent circuit is ideal for spectating with fantastic viewing locations all around the track.
The Peugeot Sport team last visited Brands Hatch in April for the start of the 2001 BTCC. Dan Eaves commented, "Last time we were at Brands we were only a second of the pace and that🍬 was at the beginning of the season. We are better set-up now and I am looking for the best result of the year there."
The Cheltenham based Peugeot works driver commented, "Brands is such a tight cirꦿcuit, ve🐻ry demanding with only 5 corners effectively. 100ths and 10ths of a second will really count here."
Steve Soper who has raced at the Kent more times than he cares to remember during his racing career said, "To win at 🅠Brands would be great. "We were quick last time we were there and that was over five months ago."
Motorsport Manager of Peugeot Motor Company Plc, Mick Linford commented, "We have had an eventful season but the whole team are looking for a win this weekend at Brands Hatch. That would be✅ a fantastic end to the year."
Vic Lee, Team Manager VLR commented, "The season is far from over even though we are not in line for any 𓆉titles, we are hoping for a win at Brands. We will be pushing the 4 cylinders even harder than usual."
