Nurburgring: Ekstrom eyes victory

Mattias Ekstrom admits 🧔he hasn't felt as comfortable in his Audi cockpit for a long time following an upturn in form for the former double-DTM champion.
Ekstrom h♕eads to the Nurburgring in a confident mood after finishing first on the road at the Norisring, only to be later disqualified for his infamous water bottle Parc Ferme incident, and after taking a strong second place last time out at Moscow.
The 35-year old, technically, hasn't added to his 17 race victories since Valencia💧 2011 and also, going back even further, ha🥃sn't clinched a DTM title since 2007.
However, the Swede insists his rediscovered ease wit𒅌hin his Audi puts him in with a chance of taking top honours next weekend at⛦ Nurburgring.
"I've celebrated many successes at🧔 the N?rburgring and am looking forward to returning to the Eifel," said Ekstrom.
"At the moment, I'm feeling more cꦦomfortable in the cockpit and the team than I have in a long time. That's why I think that we've got good chances of winning the next big trophy. My aim is to win the race."
