Frentzen admits to getting off lightly.
Heinz-Harald Frentzen has said that he is grateful to have got away without serious injury after crashing out of Sunday's DTM finale at Hockenheim and being airlifted to ho🐼spiꦛtal.
The 38-year old German crashed heavily at the Sudkurve, hitting the barriers side-on and suffering𓆉 concussion, and muscle injuries and bruising to his neck. He was unconscious in the cockpit when the medical team arrived and was subsequently airlifted to Ludwigshafen hospital after an in𝓀itial check at the circuit's medical centre.

Frentzen remembers nothing of the accident but, having seen video footage, admits that he was lucky to escape relatively unscathedꦏ.
"I'm glad that I got off so lightly," the Opel driver told German news agency SID, "I'm suffering from a bad h🤪eadache and I don't remember the accident."
Having been advised not to fly while still under obseꦡrvation, Frentzen will remain in 💮hospital for at least another 24 hours.
