Frentzen admits to getting off lightly.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen has said that he is grateful to have got away without🥃 serious injury after crashing out of Sunday's DTM finale at Hockenheim and being airlifted to hos🍸pital.

The 38-year old German crashed h𒁃eavily at the Sudkurve, hitting the barriers side-on and suffering concussion, and muscle injuries and bruising to his neck. He was unconscious in the cockpit when the medical team arrived and was subsequently airlifted to Ludwigshafen hospital after an initial check at the circuit's medi൩cal centre.

Frentzen remeℱmbers nothing of the accident but, having seen video footage, 🌱admits that he was lucky to escape relatively unscathed.

"I'm glad that I got off so lightly," the Opel driver told German news agency SID, "I'm suffering from a bad🐠 headache and I don't remember the accident."

Having been advised not to fly while still under observation, Fren⭕tzen will✃ remain in hospital for at least another 24 hours.
