Magnussen: Every F1 engine pretty similar
Having experienced every F1 engine manufacturer in the V6 Hybrid era Kevi𒁃n Magnussen says the differences aren't too dramatic as he prepares for his Haaꦇs debut in Australia.
The Danish driver made his F1 debut in 2014 when McLaren used customer Mercedes engines befor♋e acting as third and reserve dr𒅌iver for the Woking team on its first season of its Honda partnership a year later.
Having spent a single season with Renault last year, Magnussen completes the F1 power unit set with the Ferrari-powered Haas squad in 2017 - making him the only ♚driver on the planet to drive cars with every different V6 Hybrid engine supplier.

Despite the vast experience the Danish driver says the differences are not that noticeable and is confident of his smooth transition at Haas 𝓡having enjoyed a productive pre♏-season testing programme.
"N🍸one of the engines feel very different. They all seem pretty similar," Magnussen said. "They sound a bit different, and operationally the💫y're slightly different engine to engine, but the Ferrari is very easy to work on.
"It's easy 🎐to understand and the🦋 drivability is very good. Also, the power seems to be good this year, so I'm very happy."
byFocusing on his race debut for Ha🍸as next weekend, Magnussen is keen to produce a trouble-free grand prix in Melbourne to mark the start of his Haas career positively.
"It's always important to have a good start to the year just to kick-start everything," he said. "It gives you a boost to have a good beginning. The end is important too, but it's always nice to start off the year with a good race. We'll do our best and see what we get𝔍."
