Williams-BMW driver Ralf Schumacher has been given𓆏 the 'all clear' to wear glasses in 2002.

FIA spokesperson Francesco Longanesi told Reuters: "At present there is ဣnothing in the FIA rules that prevents a driver from wearing spectacles when competing."

"What a medical officer can do is to advise 🌄a driver not to wear spectacles but he certainly c🐲annot impose it."

Ralf revealed last month that he wꦗil💟l wear glasses in 2002 in a bid to give him a 'clear' edge over his brother Michael Schumacher.

Ralf revealed last month that he will wear glasses in 2002 in a b🎶id to give him a 'clear' edge over his br🎀other Michael Schumacher.

The German s😼aid: "My eyesight really is still fine but I tried driving with glasses last week and it seems to be much better."

He added: "The thing now is to try themﷺ in testing and get used to them for the season. Hopefully, the glasses can help me close the gap on Michael a little bit so I can win more races."
