Jarno Trulli may have racked up🦩 his fifth top five finish in as many races at the Spanish Grand Prix, but there was another🌠 hot streak that grabbed the Italian's attention during the event.

Executing his first pit-stop in the 66-lap race, Trulli was alarmed to find flames filling his rear view mirrors as꧙ he pulled away. Fuel had escaped from the hose as it uncoupled from the car, briefly catching light on the Toyota's hot exhausts. Quick action by the team quelled the initial blaze, while the final flickers of flame were finally extinguished as Trulli rolled off down the pi♕t-lane.

The problem did not appear to faze the Italian, who completed a second, more routine, stop before fending off Toyo🉐ta team-mate Ralf Schumacher on his way to a ꦦthird podium of the season.

"When I saw the fire🤡 at the back of the car, I just said [to myself] I will pull away and go because I wanted to try my best," Trulli revealed later, "I was fighting and fighting for the podium, and there was nothing in my mind which could stop me at that stage."
