Perez💙 and Ocon had a tense relationship as teammates, but the early signs between Perez and Stroll have been positive. Both drivers have already picked up points so far this year, and Szafnauer is pleased🌳 with how their par🐬tnership has begun.
"It is a different dynamic. It’s good," Szafꦕnauer🐬 said.
"It’s different for many reasons, but it’s v𓂃ery good. They share work together, try to get the best out of the car."
Stroll spent much of 2018 languishing at the back of the grid with Willia🐈ms as the team struggled with an uncompetitive car, with his move up to Racing Point offering the opportunity to fight more often for points finishes.
The Canadian is only in his third ☂F1 season, but Szafnauer has been impressed by his star🔥t to life in a new team.
"He’s good," Szafnauer said. "We can teach him some stuff. And itꦍ’s one of those things where with experience you learn.
"He’s young. He’s 20 years old. And with a couple of years he’ll only get bette🌳r and better at this.
"He’s very good, very talented. Great feedback, kno෴w wha💖t he likes with the car, and he’s a good driver."
