Aston Mar📖tin is set to run its Formula 1 cars in its British racing green colour scheme when it returns to the grid in 2021.

The Silverstone-based outfit has raced in a predominantly pink livery design since BWT arrived as its title sponsor in 2017, but upon its rebrand to Aston Martin next year, the team is expected to adopt the Bཧritish manufacturer’s traditional racing colours.

Speaking in Thursday’s FIA press conference in Sochi ahead of this weekend’s Ru🤪ssian Grand Prix, Lance Stroll revealed that the new Aston🃏 Martin F1 Team project is set to run its cars in British racing green.

“I believe it will be British racing green so it will be pretty cool,꧒” Stroll said.

Aston Martin’s cars have raced in the green livery across all categories of motඣorsport it has entered, including its brief spell in F1 between 1959 and 1960.

The livery design for 2021 is expected to incorporate the bright pink colour🌃s of BWT, which will remain a sponsor of the team next year despite the rebrand.

With Racing Point set to emba🍸rk on its new era as Aston Martin, it has also signed four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel from Ferrari to complete its ꦉdriver line-up alongside Stroll.

Sergio Perez will subsequently depart andꦚ the Mexican is currently attempting to secure a place on the F1 grid for next season.

Stroll said he spoke with Vettel to welcome him to the team at the last race at Muဣgello but is yet to hold formal talks with the German about Aston Martin’s planওs for the future.

“I just knocked on his motorhome in Mugello and shook ꩵhis hand, welcomed him to the team,” The Canadian added. “It’s going to be very exciting so I’m looking forward to it.”
